Biography
Mended consists of a group of five anointed, saved,
and gifted women of God which include: Takita Johnson; Sharon Moss;
and sisters Trina, Deborah and Tinesa Robinson who have been sharing
the gospel of praise through music and songs. Mended has been ministering
for years and gives God all the glory for the success they have accomplished
thus far. Mended also serves as faithful praise and worship team leaders
of Greater Miracle Temple Worship Center COGIC located in Orangeburg,
SC under the leadership of Supt. Walter C. Robinson.
Prior to their name change the group was known to many as The WC
Robinson Praise Ensemble. After prayer and fasting the group was in
bible study reading Isaiah 58. As they began to read they all recognized
something in verse 12 that got their attention. It was at this time
they understood why God had placed them on the fast and from Isaiah
58:12 “Mended” was birthed.
Mended has been sharing their gift with those around for many years
and have ministered in numerous events in and outside of South Carolina.
As they continue to share their gifts Mended believe God is opening
more doors and given them greater platforms to share their gift with
others. They are not entertainers but worshippers sharing the gift
that God has anointed them with.
Mended released their Debut CD entitled "The Promises of God"
in January 2011 and plan to release the full album by the end of the
year.
Where has Mended been?
Being that Mended Ministry started so long ago, they have ministered
at so many places. Just to name a few, they recently were graced to
be nominated and delegated the 2009 Contemporary Gospel Group Winners
in the McDonald’s Choir Showcase. This opportunity allowed Mended
to share a platform with great Psalmists including, Pastor Jason Nelson
and Pastor William Murphy. Mended has had the opportunity to minister
and share the platform with other artists that will include: Pastor
Barbara Farmer; Desmond Pringle; Focus; Terrell Gathers and Anointed
Praise; and John Lincoln and Youth on a Mission, just to name a few.
In May 2008, Mended was graced with the opportunity to Minister in
the Church of the Living God Music Conference, which was held in Greensboro,
NC. Their ministry gifts have allowed them to minister in several
parts of North Carolina including Charlotte and Greensboro, at various
ministries.
Mended made guest appearances on WLTX channel 19 during the “Songs
of the Season” in December of 2005 and 2006. They have been
heard on the WSPX 94.5 FM radio station for the Sunday evening local
talent hour. In October 2003, Mended was given the opportunity to
minister at the Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC during the Apollo
Showcase. They have been featured on numerous occasions on the Best
of the Low County Jam located in Walterboro, SC, WCIV channel 4. These
opportunities have opened many doors for them to share their gifts
with so many crossing many denominations.

Our Mission:
The Mended mission is that we, through Christ in Psalms: heal the
broken hearted; encourage those that are depressed; mend brokenness;
rebuild the torn down; the weak; the worn; and restore joy once known.
It is OUR great commission to go out into the highways and compel!!!
